hmm the site is a bit dead  however perhaps we shouls start using it again as hopefully our activity rate will be going up now teh demo out and ut3 full isjust round the corner.

 

the dm section is fun but it was never going to convert me to a tdm /dual / dm player. of course it is invaluble for learning wepons etc pickups general tricks for when we get into war. i shall be getting a 9800 most likely come feb march i think - however i may pospone this depending on the optimisation of the game between now and then.

 

also i very fun mode i have found is vctf which is great and may be a mode we could get into as well as war having a lot in common with the game type - i have been playing this quite a bit learning the ins and out of the new drivables / tank /rap / hell etc... i have found on every place the improvements to the stuff like raptors and scorpions are all a step forwar. i think this will make war far better. one gripe i have is the tank splash dam is way reduced and it is quite easy to take it out on foot now if the person doesnt go to the second gun - though i hear this may be getting looked at.

 

i also HATE  the consolisis that has aflicted the options browser and menu - though i think this has caused such an outcry that it will no way ship with the format it is curently in - here's hoping.

UT3/ TF2/ Crysis all appeal to me. More leaning towards TF2 ATM but they all have potential.
